What we collect
Orders. When you pay, Stripe gives us the email address, first name, and last name you enter, the amount, the currency, the payment status, and Stripe’s session and payment identifiers. We create an order reference such as LGJ-7K3QX9PD. We never store your full card number, card expiry, or card security code. Stripe does.
Delivery. After payment is confirmed we email a private download link and may show a download button in the same browser. We store a hash of that link, not the link itself. We also store when the link expires (normally 7 days), how many downloads it allows (normally 5), and the result of each download attempt, such as authorized, expired, or revoked. We do not store the contents of the files you download.
Same-browser checkout cookie. Starting checkout sets an httpOnly cookie named lgj_claim for about 24 hours. It lets this browser show your download after Stripe confirms payment. We store only a hash of the cookie value.
How you arrived. If the page URL contains campaign parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content), we keep a short, cleaned copy in your browser’s session storage and attach it to the order. It is not an account identifier.
First-party counts. We record event names such as a page view, a preview click, a checkout click, a checkout error, a verified purchase, and an authorized download, plus an optional short label and those campaign parameters. These records do not include your email, payment details, or IP address. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, the page does not send these browsing events.
Abuse limits. Checkout, download, and similar routes may store a hash of your IP address for a short window so one visitor cannot flood the site. The analytics table does not keep the raw IP.
Why we use it
We use this information to take payment, deliver the files, send the order email, replace a lost link when you ask, issue or record a refund, prevent fraud and abuse, and see which parts of the page people use. We do not use it to build an advertising profile, and we do not sell or rent it.
Who else processes it
Stripe processes the payment. Resend sends the order and download emails. The site host, the database, and a private file bucket (Amazon S3 or Cloudflare R2) store the order record and the product file. Those providers process data only so the store can run. They may store data in countries other than yours. The product file stays in a private bucket. A download uses a short-lived signed address, normally about 60 seconds, and the file is not published on the open web.
Cookies and storage
The claim cookie is strictly necessary for the same-browser download button. A separate admin session cookie exists only for the store operator signed in at /admin. We do not set advertising cookies. Campaign parameters live in session storage and disappear when that browser session ends.
How long we keep it
Order and payment records are kept for as long as we need them for accounting, refunds, disputes, and fraud checks. Download links expire on the schedule above. You can ask us to delete the email address on an order. We may still have to keep a record that a sale happened.
Your choices
Email support to ask for a copy of the order data we hold, a correction, or deletion. You can turn on Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track to stop the browsing counters. You can refuse cookies in your browser; checkout can still complete, but the on-page download button may not appear and you would use the email link instead.
If you are in the EEA, the United Kingdom, or a place with a similar law, you can also complain to your data-protection authority. This page is not a full legal opinion for every country.
Children
This store is for people running their own job search. It is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. The version that applied when you paid is the one that covered that order, plus any change the law requires.
